Candy Crush Lesson #1

I used to be a fairly serious person but in the last few years, I’ve discovered games and last year, I met and fell in love with Candy Crush. The fact that it’s one of the few apps I can use on my phone when I am underground in the subway means I can get through quite a few rounds on a train ride. I’m a little ashamed to admit that I’m now up to level 350 in Candy Crush. That’s a record of a lot of time wasted. But whether it’s a time waster or not, we can all learn something from Candy Crush.
No matter how good you are, you’ll fail a few times before you figure out the strategy of the level so you can move on. The key is to keep trying. No matter how much you learn while you’re playing the level, you have to try again so you can apply the lessons you just learned.
Same in life. If you keep working at your goal, you’ll figure out what works and what doesn’t. So what if, at first, you rack up a few misses? Keep trying and one of these days, you’ll hit your target. But you can’t quit. You’ve got to keep trying.
Always try again! Always retry!
Never be afraid to fail. Failure just means you’re one step closer to winning next time.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts as well.
