Vega Sport #FuelYourBetter Review

I love natural food. Some of the best dishes are made completely with natural foods, no chemicals for miles. You might already know that I’m a chemical engineer, and so you might think that I am all about the chemical stuff but I like my food natural.
You’ve read my posts about some of the dishes I like to make – salads, G-BOMBS, stir-frys, whole grain salads. But sometimes when I’m on the run, I can’t make a quinoa salad from scratch. Or sometimes when I’m on a workout, I just want to eat something that’s good for me without making a meal first.
Vega sport protein bar to the rescue!

The bar is 260 calories and 100 fat calories but don’t be discouraged about that. If you know anything about reading labels, you know that’s not the full story – some high fat foods like nuts and avocados are actually GREAT for you so read on.

The ingredient list includes:
Organic sprouted whole grain rice protein
Pea protein
Cocoa butter
Organic peanuts
Organic peanut butter
Chicory root
Sunflower lecithin

I don’t know about you but I really like to see extracts from natural foods on an ingredient list.
And the chocolate coating feeds my sugar cravings. I find myself doing a workout just to justify eating the Vega Sport bar. I took it with me on a run, brought it as a snack in my bag on a long walk and today, after yoga, I chomped down one of these bars so fast, it was like it was never there.
I’m psyched to have a whole box of these awesome bars to keep me fueled for the rest of the month (or maybe just for the next couple days the way I’ve been going)
I’ve been doing some pretty high-intensity workouts in the past few weeks and these protein bars have been keeping me fueled.
Vega sport bar. Try it. It’s gluten free. It’s natural, non-GMO products, totally plant based. Of course if you have a nut allergy, this is not the bar for you otherwise, get it. Try it today.

Going natural doesn’t have to mean only eating fruits and vegetables. Whatever you do, make the best choice, all in a bid to Eat Right, Live Right, RUNWRIGHT!

Please note: Vega Sport gave me a box of these bars to test so I could write a review but the opinions are completely my own. Sweat Pink hooked me up with Vega Sport and neither Sweat Pink nnor Vega Sport told me what to say. I love these bars and I think you will too but please read the label to see if there’s anything you are allergic to because it contains nuts and may contain traces of milk and soy.

Chocolate coconut sounds yummy. I’ll put that flavor next on my list of bars to try.
