National Running Day in Central Park

I hope you had a chance to run today. The weather was perfect for running and there was so much activity to celebrate National Running Day in lots of parks and running routes across the country. Here in NYC, New York Road Runners was giving out batons and bandanas in different parks but I missed them.
The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge happened in Central Park this evening but I missed the runners too. I passed by the volunteers as they were setting up the water stations.

Lovely evening.
Altogether, I ran 5.miles and felt awesome when I was done. Tired but accomplished!

On my walk home, I saw a snarky but cute sign that a homeowner had left for dogwalkers.

Runwright.net G-BOMBS Salad

And then I made this fantastic salad that covered 4 of the G-BOMBS. (G-BOMBS are greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries and seeds)
This salad had mixed greens (G), black beans (B), raw onions (O), shredded carrots, roasted cashews and sunflowers seeds (S). Delicious!
