Cultivating Patience In A Vegetable Garden

The rain from Tropical Storm Arthur brought abundance to my garden. I am pleased with all the leaves but 4 weeks in, I am expecting blossoms and fruit. Am I too anxious?
This is the squash plant…

…and the garden overall.

See the encroachment from my neighbors tomatoes? Maybe that is what is adding to my anxiety.
But I can’t covet my neighbors garden because while they were sowing seed, and nurturing their plants, I was loafing around in my pre-garden days.
I suppose that while I am gardening, I also need to “cultivate” some patience 🙂 there isn’t much I can do to make these crops grow any faster so I should just relax, and enjoy the experience.
Hope you have a great, relaxing day.
