September To Remember

This month I am participating in a blog-everyday-in-September challenge, hosted by The Observant Turtle.
I write almost everyday but hopefully this will help me push through the days when I would otherwise not write.
I like the challenge because September is my favorite month of the year and I want to record and remember as much of it as possible.

Of course, it being around my birthday, I get philosophical in September, and today I got these questions from a TV show I was watching (proof that I can get inspiration from anything)
The show was about decisions.
Decide:
Is this the life you want to live?
Is this the person you want to be?
Is this the thing you want to do?
Is this the best that you can do? Or can you be stronger? Kinder? More compassionate?

As I transition into being another year older, these are all questions I find myself asking. Over the next few weeks, I hope to be able to answer a resounding YES to the first 4 questions at least, because I would be doing the things I love and doing everything I can to realize my potential so I get to living my best life.

Maybe you want to ask yourself these questions too; maybe you even want to share some of those answers with me.
The thing about decisions is that once you’ve made them, the consequences unfold out of your control, out of your hands. So try to make the right decisions. But know that whenever things spiral out of control, you will be tempted to second-guess yourself and ask, “Did I make the right decision?” Maybe you didn’t. Your only consolation will be knowing you did the best you could. So make sure you do the best you can.
Happy September. Look out for more tomorrow.
