I laugh and cry, I talk and I keep silent. I doubt and I’m confident, I love and I dislike and although I have dreams, I am afraid.
But, so does everyone else!
So what makes me special? What makes me unique? It’s not the degrees on my wall, it’s not my face or my clothes or my language. It’s not my job or where I live. Rather, it’s how I combine all those things, how they change me and how I use them to change the world around me.
What’s makes me unique is my perspective – it comes from the combination of all my experiences; every time I laughed or cried, every time I spoke or listened, every time I’ve wondered if I could, every time I knew I could and did, every interaction with every person I’ve loved and even those I’d wished I’d never met, every dream I’ve ever dreamed and every time I was afraid…
Those lessons give me intuition and expertise, they give me passion and compassion.
My memories make me who I am today and they color my future. They are why I am special.
Like a snowflake, there is only one of me.
What makes you special?
