Twitter Changes Things

Sure, Twitter can be an incredible time suck and it’s easy to get lost in live tweeting an event instead of actually living the event. And don’t get me started on the how the thumbnail pics cut off in the middle so I am clicking pictures I don’t even want to see just to see if I want to see them.

Yesterday I could be found live-tweeting my writing non-progress as well as…

  4. Flashing forward to a day when it will be warm enough to go coat-less againwarm weather clothes http://runwright.net
  5. But coming back to reality in time to duck when I walk under the icicles hanging off the roofIMG_9973

Winter… oh joy!

But here are the 5 lessons I got from Twitter yesterday

  1. Most people don’t succeed on their first try
  2. No matter how long you procrastinate, the task remains
  3. Sometimes, self-motivation is all you’ll have
  4. You can be successful anywhere
  5. No matter what else is going on, you can be happy right now

What got you out of bed today?

I’m open on Bloglovin, open on Instagram and downright hilarious on Twitter. Follow me and see.

Ah, a day in the life of a New Yorker. I did not hear Native American woodwinds, instead I heard Taylor swifts “shake it off” every time I went somewhere today, and I would like to jump off a bridge now.
I do however love your posts!

Don’t jump! I can’t promise you that you won’t hear the same song everywhere tomorrow but someday soon, there will be another, totally different, but equally overplayed song. Until then, just… ‘shake it off’ (sorry I couldn’t resist)
Have a great wknd. And thanks for reading.

Yup. These weather forecasts don’t predict warm weather anytime soon. We just have to hang in there 😊
