The Weekend That Was

I started my weekend outside in Union Square Park and ended it outside in Central Park. Here’s a little of what happened in between.

Gandhi statue in Union Square. Look at those blossoms behind him!

I love mushrooms but I think I could only eat the ones I buy in the supermarket.  These make pretty pictures though πŸ˜€

Dinner with my family complete with two birthday celebrations and of course, two cakes. I love it!

My goals this week include:

  • Create (and follow) time-table for better time management
  • Write everyday
  • Finish a writing project
  • Read 2 books. Quiet – The Power of Introverts and some fiction.
  • Camping trip at the end of the week
  • Workout everyday, including 3 outdoor runs 5K or more

What was the best part of your weekend? What are you looking forward to this week?

  1. I need to work on some time management too. Actually what I need to do is wake up earlier. I don’t wake up early enough and then wonder why I didn’t accomplish anything that day.

    Good luck this week!

Thanks. I need to get back on a routine. If I get up at the same time everyday, I could get more done in the morning. Morning hours can be really productive.

Beautiful pictures! I’ve started to read the book Quiet as well. I haven’t gotten too far into it yet, but it looks like it’ll be a powerful book!

I’m kinda flaking out on Quiet. I’m at page 42 and really needing some fiction. πŸ˜‰
