Health is Wealth

On a 2 mile run in Central Park this morning, I looked around and felt so grateful – to be alive even if I was alone, to be healthy enough to be running outside even if I’m not at peak condition, to be running even if I’m not going fast. Life is a blessing. But the benefits of a healthy life are unparalleled. I think enjoying life is the simplest and best goal you can have.

And I was reminded of this quote:

In the middle of my philosphizing, I still made fine for a couple running selfies

And my favorite poached egg sandwich for the refuel:

Great start to a Fri-yay.

They say health and youth are most appreciated when they are lost. We can’t stop the aging process but we can do things to preserve our health
