Thursday’s Tumbled Thoughts

I’m a little shocked that it’s Thursday because I haven’t yet done all the things I need to do this week – I have to amp up my productivity in the next couple of days to meet my April goals.
Yesterday was awesome though. I had a day trip to Sight and Sound Theatre in Pennsylvania. The theatre is smack dab in the middle of Amish country. I’ve been there before to see another show but this time, it was a bigger group and everybody knows Big Group = Big Fun.

It’s hard to choose the best part of the day. How do you choose between:
Seeing the livestock The all you can eat a.k.a. Smorgasboard buffet, complete with organic vegetables. Yum! The theatre  The show itself  And to top it all off, I sold some copies of my book to the people on the bus. Giving my little spiel to the group was fun. Authographing copies while we rode down the New Jersey Turnpike was even better. I don’t know if I can top any of this as the highlight of the week but I am still hopeful.
The Kindle version of It’s Complicated: Short Stories About Long Relationships will be available on May 9th – that’s my mom’s birthday – but is available for pre-order right now. Click here for more info. I have 2 books to read by Saturday night so I can complete one of my reading challenges. Read-a-thon anyone?

I have 2 good friends with birthdays tomorrow and they are as unlike as any two people could be. Just more proof that that astrology stuff has no truth to it. But happy birthday to you guys.

That’s my local update. What’s going on in your neck of the woods?

  1. Mmm. All those veggies look delicious. + some shoefly pie? Yum. I live on the other side of PA, I’ve been to Amish Country a time or two. It’s such a unique place.

And congrats on selling some copies of your book. I bet getting to autograph them is a pretty awe-ing even too.
