It’s Friday and while everyone is thinking and talking about the weekend, I am still a little focused on the goals I set on Monday and still haven’t met. I am on track to meet my reading, blogging and social goals but my writing goals needs some CPR, I haven’t posted any YouTube videos yet and the planning for the youth group outreach has to be postponed – the weather this weekend sounds like an outdoor event isn’t really the best idea.
It’s Friday and it’s really tempting to sit back and relax, celebrate what I’ve done so far this week and just put off everything I didn’t accomplish for next week instead. BUT, I’m choosing to make Friday the day to focus on meeting those errant goals. Let’s see whether I can catch up. Are you doing the same thing today?
Workout Challenge Update
On Monday, I announced that I am doing a daily run-walk challenge with my virtual running-buddy. Day 5 goals are just to stay consistent – go for a run/walk and do it for at least 1 mile. After 4 days, physical and mental fatigue are starting to set in and exercise starts to feel like torture but sticking to the goal is important to build up mental toughness. I ran for 1.6 miles. It was a struggle but during the whole run, I was thinking, I ran outdoors every day this week. It felt so good to get it done.
