My schedule is in flux. A lot is happening, a lot that should be happening, isn’t and I’m just trying to remain focused on my main goals. Although I set goals for the year, and split them up to cover my monthly, weekly and daily To Do lists, some goals are more important than others. Right now, my health and fitness goals and my writing goals need top priority because I’ve been slacking on them recently. Running everyday and finding time to write creatively everyday means some other things fall by the wayside now. The last few weeks, I haven’t been able to post any videos on my YouTube channel but I finally have a new one up. It’s a visual wrap-up of the bad moms topic I blogged about a few days ago. Friday means I made it to day 10 of my virtual running partnership with Tarnished Soul. Our overall objective is to get back to regular outdoor running in a bid to improve health and fitness. Each day, I will post the planned workout and update it when we’ve completed the workout. If you’d like to join us, feel free to comment below and let me know to add you to the daily tracker.
Today’s goal is to run / run-walk for 1 mile. We are still battling 90 degree temperatures around here, and it is the kind of humid, draining heat that makes a 1 mile run feel like a marathon. Sticking to short distance is in keeping with the our overall goal which is to be healthy and not push too far. Come back later for the update.
