I failed to meet most of my goals last week so I’m living in the past, playing catch up, working on things I should have done already so I can hopefully get back on schedule for the end of the month which is… egads, tomorrow. How are we at the end of another month already?
Click here to see what goals I set last week and at the beginning of the month.
The only goal that is progressing well is my daily workout challenge that I started with my virtual running-buddy. Today is day 17 and the goal is to run at least 1 mile outdoors.
Update: I did it (just barely, but it’s done) and now on to the other things I need to accomplish.
Do you sometimes have weeks like this where you just aren’t productive at all? I mean are there times when you work hard but it feels like you don’t accomplish the things you set out to do. I hope you don’t give up. I hope you just reset and relaunch and try again. That’s what I am doing today.
I hope you have a great Tuesday.

It is very motivational to see you, not only set goals and achieve them or not achieve them, but being honest. That honesty you have with the way you set goals, the goals you set, and their results is very rare.

Thanks so much for the comment, Oyinadamola. I hope by sharing my experience that it will help others to see that temporary setbacks happen to all of us but we have to keep striving to move forward. I hope you have a great, productive week ahead.

I definitely feel you. This week I’ve also felt super lazy as I just got back from a vacation. It’s been hard to get back into work mode

I took a couple days off for the holiday weekend but changing the routine really has me off kilter. Haha. I guess it’s worth it in the long run. I hope you had a great vacation.

Great job on the daily workout challenge. Having a virtual running buddy to help you stay accountable seems to be working well. The great thing about goals is they can be revised as needed. I think it is OK to let some go if necessary too. Thanks for linking, Karen!

Thanks for the kind words. I need them this week; sometimes, the struggle is real.
