I’m halfway there. After this morning’s run, I got a little notification that I’m halfway into my #ToughGirlChallenge running goal of 100 miles. At the beginning of May I started the daily workout challenge that I started with my virtual running-buddy and I’ve been keeping up with that by running at least a mile every weekday. In June, though, my friend Patrice invited me to join Sarah Williams on Instagram and do theTough Girl challenge. Sarah is hiking the Appalachian trail in 100 days but I pledged to run 100 miles over the 100 days between June 3rd and September. That’s the challenge that this infographic is measuring.
Below are pictures from my 5 runs this week.
Some mornings have been hard but my day improves drastically after I’ve had my morning run. I feel like I’ve been more productive these past few weeks (click to read my recent goal review) and I plan to keep the challenge going. Nobody wants to go halfway and stop, right? Like the song says, Almost doesn’t count. This is a goal I have every intention of meeting.
How have you been? What’s been the highlight of your week thus far?

That’s really great – congratulations! My running and workout routine has been bad lately, due to a crazy schedule and a fall I took while running – a couple skinned knees and elbows, but my phone survived! I’ll get back out there tomorrow, but I needed to recover! Happy weekend!
