Time For A Checkup

Thursday seems like as good a time as any to check in on the goals I set this week and see what I have to double on before the weekend.

This week, I planned to:

  • Read the Bible everyday – check
  • Read 4 books – so far I’ve finished one and am halfway into another
  • Update my reading journal – I haven’t done that yet
  • Complete some artwork for a writing project I am working on – not yet
  • Blog everyday – yes
  • Create/ upload 3 YouTube videos – only 1 so far
  • Write creatively for at least 2 hrs everyday. I want to finish a short story I started – I’ve worked on the story everyday and am in the editing phase now
  • Submit stories for online publication – no
  • Make some new friends on social media – Yes
  • Send 3 pieces of snail mail to friends – Done! I can’t wait for them to receive their packages
  • Support someone else’s goals – thinking… I don’t think I’ve done this yet this week
  • Save – not yet
  • Run outdoors every day – 4 runs already complete
  • Strength train 3 times this week No. I guess I know what I’ll be doing for exercise tomorrow
  • Declutter and donate some things – I did declutter a space  but didn’t donate yet
  • Complete my organization for our camping trip in August – not yet
  • Plan my weekend camping trip coming at the end of July – Start but not finished

So I’ve made some progress. I have a lot to accomplish tonight and tomorrow. I celebrate the Sabbath so my work week ends tomorrow evening and I guess I’ll be busy until then.

How are you doing with your goals? What are you working on today?
