The first book I read in January was a novel set in England. I didn’t really plan it that way but the next book was also set in England and the third book was set in the Caribbean island of Antigua. So began a year of reading several books set in different countries in the world. I didn’t set out to do it but once I started tracking, I realized I had covered more than 20 international countries so I decided to organize those books and share them with you.
In today’s video I share 5 books from countries that begin with the letters A through E
If you enjoyed the video, I hope you’ll subscribe so you won’t miss out on the next in this series where I travel from France to Jamaica (my home, and where I will restrain myself from showing the books I have written)
Below, I also share links where you can purchase a copy of the book if you want to increase your own international collection. When you click my affiliate links and make a purchase, I make a small commission to fund my book buying habits and it helps me to continue traveling the world through books. Thanks!

Nice work. I’m participating in an ‘around the world in 80 books’ challenge but I’m only at 15 or so countries so far and it will obviously get harder and harder as I approach 80!

Oh that is interesting. Are the countries / books already selected or do you choose them as you go?

You just choose as you go.

Things We lost in The Fire blew me away! one of my fav this year! I had a very hard time writing the review to convey how fantastic it was. Not sure it’s a book for everyone though! Extremely dark and real [and so surreal at the same time!] that’s why I loved it!
