Christmas Book Haul

I know what they say about the focus not being on gifts but pardon me while I celebrate the stack of books I got for Christmas. I’ve even started reading a couple of them already. There were some other awesome gifts too because I have lots of really great people in my life. I will chat about those other presents later.

For now, click to watch my video and celebrate with me and then tell me what books came into your life during the holidays.

Keep the happiness going by subscribing to my channel if you haven’t already. Today’s video is going to be another in my Closer Book series.

  1. Well, my young friend, you have set my Goodreads “To Read” shelf ablaze this morning! I love that you want to read a couple of classics. I reread Gatsby last year, along with Tale of Two Cities and Pride and Prejudice. (I try to read/reread a couple of classics each year.) Currently I’m rereading Jane Eyre – filled with a lot of dead language, but so good for my brain! Your descriptions of your new books were juicy and enticing! Makes me want to read all day instead of getting some work done! Thanks for that! ~ Lynn

Happy New Year. How did you make out with the Jane Eyre read? I haven’t read it in a while. What are your classic picks for 2018?

      1. I truly enjoyed Jane Eyre. I haven’t yet decided on my classics for this year. Perhaps something lighter like Little Women, and maybe some Hemingway. ~ Lynn

Nice. If you’d like to read the Sun Also Rises with me, let me know.
