Somehow, it’s the last day of May today. Don’t ask me where time goes, although I have some pics to help me remember how I spent the moments. I haven’t done one of these posts in a while so today, I am linking up with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud.
I started the month at Starbucks, writing assiduously and daydreaming about completing the writing project.
I reintroduced myself to the internet as a Jamaican Wright-er and Sporadic Run-ner who is All-ways Read-ing. I thought it was a clever play on my channel name Run Wright Reads
I took a soap-making class where we used milk from these goats – well, not exactly these goats because these are babies, but from their mothers. Oh, and there were chickens too – reminds me of home in Jamaica
I burned myself 😦
There were lots of yummy foods, some healthy, some not so much.
I read some great books, including these Man Booker Prize winning novels
I went to one of the most beautiful weddings I can remember
I went camping with the kids
I wasted a lot of time on Instagram but some of these pics and videos really draw me in
Speaking of the Internet, I use it to stalk my mom. Whenever someone posts a picture of her, I’m on it 😉
I also revisited some throwback pictures like this one from the 1980s…

…and this one from the early 2010s when my friend and I partied with the Two Man Gentleman Band after their concert in Brooklyn.
And I ended the month the way I started it, sitting at Starbucks, writing to meet deadlines, determined that next month is going to be way more productive. I guess we’ll see.
How was your month? What was your best memory of May?
